NEGATIVITY

An addiction that loiters around every soul,

As good, it reproduces when given a spotlight,

Natives who venture in it naturally,

Have a near to the ground sense of worth,

An effortless double of that mind-set,

Improper thoughts that sink you,

The individual is given a drastic surpassing,

It can only nourish on itself,

Thin-skinned characters are easily persecuted for they lack a lock,

Destructiveness that mutes, the "get-up-and-go" call,

A figment of your imagination shaped by the narrow mind to shield itself,

Ends up being as pricey as Prada,

Schemes to create an academy of its kind, an extension of itself,

Not all dignitaries yearn for a place in this "Harvard wanna-be",

You forget, everyone can find fault, few can do better,

Membership and subscription for the optimistic are on the house,

So far no complaints, just praise and satisfied members,

Care to share positivity and be a good activist?

For tales have been told, but never for pessimism,

Negativity never won any battle.
