WHY ARE WE AMUSED

We express amusement, and what are we amused by,

Our peers in tears, perhaps?

The world in this day and age, short of true hilarity,

Am amazed at how mankind evolves in its transformation,

Transform not for the paramount but for the pits,

Gratitude, genuine love, positive reception and other good,

Have all lost their sense and have been swapped,

And yet they ask you to suck it up and live,

Sad that those who mean the world to you support this,

And we all know why, they are the sprite's activists,

What do we smirk about when others suffer?

Though ire never took us to heaven i bet care stands a chance,

And if its their turn they come with expectations,

How dare you get amused they ask,

And the pot just called the kettle black,

Forgot that to both of them the world is a difficult nut to crack.
